I think this has been brought up here before, but the other day my speedo stopped, the tach stopped, and the odometer stopped spinning. The engine light also came on. I disconnected the battery cables, cleaned the terminals and they worked again for about a day, and then stopped working again. Anyone have this problem before?

Get the alternator checked out. That can cause the lights to freak out.

what year and model? older hardbodies had some trouble with the connector on the cluster that I heard about.
