I was able to take my '84 720 out for it's first real offroad test yesterday! It definetly outperformed my expectations, going places I didn't think I would be able to go! I went with a Jeep Wrangler and a Ford F250 and all three vehicles came back with no damage besides a few scratches! I will definetly bring a digital camera next time I go. I didn't think I would do so well because I seem to be lacking power on the road (especially at freeway speeds), but it had plenty of power in the lower gears offroad! Thanks again to Datz, Dessert Rat and all of the members here for your help in resolving all of the misc. issues I had in getting my rig ready (mechanical/Lift/Suspension/Tires)! There are not many sources of information on my truck, but I can always get it here!! Thanks!

That's great Randy. Sounds like you had a good time. Doesn't it always seem you never have a camera when you need one? smile

Hey randy, nice to see more people out wheeling. We have a club up in the NW, check out the website sometime, www.nworc.com
We welcome anybody and you don't have to be a member to come on a run. It would be cool to hook up with you for a run, I'll be posting details of the next run in the Northwest section when we decide when and where...

I don't really have time to be a part of any more organizations, but I would be interested in knowing when you make runs locally.
Like I mentioned before, I took my truck out last weekend and beat on it, with no damage or dissapointments. But then yesterday I drove it over a rock retaining wall in my yard and caught the drive shaft on a rock and bent it all up. It would almost be funny if it wasn't so sad!
