Hi guys, been gone for awhile. Im storing my Hardbody for awhile because i want to get the surface rust repaired before the truck is unsaveable. I have a question. My 2wd truck started rusting above the rear wheels and i now have a quarter sized hole. I want to POR15 the rust and weld the hole. Will 4x4 fender flares mount to a 2x4? I want to hide the repair job.

Thanks Bo.

I put 4x4 fender flares on my frontier. I just had to drill all the mounting holes for the clips/fasteners.

Yes! the flares will go on easy on the rear, but the front ones are a little tricky, when you put the front ones on, start at the back and work forward, you may have to trim the flare where it meets the little spoiler under the front bumper..
I am sure you know the 4wd fenders have a bigger bulge than the 2wd so you have to make some adjustments to make it fit.

The rear is the same on a 2x4, up front you will be doing some moding. 4x4 fenders are a little bit bigger.

some of the pathfinders flares came with mud flaps, you don't want those.

I checked into new flares (oem) for mine (86.5 HB)
they run $30ea for the front and $23ea for the rears, those show to be "up to 92" I would bet those would work for you..

30 for new flares is not bad at all.
