I have a '95 Hardbody...and you can see my center console here:
http://jadcock.oldsgmail.com/nissan/index.html Whenever I pass by a used car lot and see a Nissan truck, I stop in just to check it out, see what size/brand tires are on it, what they've done to it, etc. I saw two Hardbodies today, but didn't catch the year of them. Either '96s or '97s I think. They have center consoles with a higher armrest and two cupholders down on the floor. They were both 5-sp models, so I know the console could be had with the manual tranny option. Does anyone have any information about these consoles...what years they were offered, and where I might be able to pick one up? Do they mount where my console would come out, or will I have to drill some new holes? Thanks in advance! Jason Adcock Blacksburg, VA 1995 Nissan Hardbody 4WD 1997 Cadillac SLS Visit my homepage! |

Thanks Silverfox.
Does your arm hit the top of the console (where the armrest is) when you're shifting into 2nd or 4th? When I shift into one of these gears, especially 4th, my arm is pretty close to the console lid, and I'm afraid that if it's any higher (like with the newer style console), it'd hit. Armrest does NOT interfere with my shifting. After hearing you concern, I had to check it out before the reply.
