Just about any console will fit in between the seats. Tuffy makes good ones. Us with Pathfinders are screwed cause Nissan for some reason stuck our Ebrake in between the seats instead of under the dash like the HBs. I've always contemplated getting the HB linkage and moving it, but I think it would be a huge PITA. Maybe if and when I ever have to drop the tranny I'll think about it.

King Cabs are still Hardbodies...I thought all HB trucks had the Ebrake under the dash, not on the floor. I've never seen a HB with the ebrake on the floor between the seats. Guess there is a first for everything.

I was kinda thinking about mounting the other style ebrake on mine and have one for each rear wheel, as a mock LSD-enhancing device. Too much trouble though.

I always assumed that the V6 king cabs had it in the console and all the 4cyl had it under the dash

That's strange...but I think I might know where to find this info. I'll look into it tomorrow...

DocP's truck is a SE-V6 BTW.

Manuals are floor mounted autos are dash mounted. It make sense because with a stick you use the parking brake more often.
