ive been working on restoring my truck for a month now... gotten quite a bit done. new bed, reese hitch, forth and rear bumper, custom paint job, tires, frontbrakes and rotors,3 inch suspension lift, and soon to pick out a winch. all said about a 3000 dollar project, but this truck is worth it. (87 hb 4 cyl 4x4 53000 orig miles 32000 when i first found it in that field) the 15 years of sitting rusted havoc on certain parts...

right now what i need is to ask where to find window and door seals, what the best suspension lift for the money is, hydralic or electic winch, and where can i find door pins

The best suspension lift is:

Front supperlift upper control arms. Sway-a-away t-bars. Rear lift leaf springs , or A/C a-a-leafs. Up front you want greaseable upper control arms. Rough country makes a really good cheap set of greaseable control arms. As for shocks. Hands down rancho 9 way adjustable shocks.

I would stay away from A/C sus kit. It's a good kit, having said that you can put together your own kit, which will be fare superior.

If you are looking for the best complete kit. IE: A kit with everything you need. Not having to buy anything els you need. Calmini has the best ready to bolt on 3" suspension kits. btw there shocks ride pretty comfortable.

thanks ill probably go with the calmini kit as i have future plans to do a sas, and that kit seems to be affordable. is the only place to get window and door seals from the dealer, or does an aftermarket company offer them? we dont have a nissan dealer round here and i have been to busy at work to get around to calling them... just figured that i would ask, a m companys are almost always cheaper. thanks again, these forums are always full of good nissan info, and the guys at the clubs around here laugh at me because they all have jeeps (they wont let me go wheeling with them because i drive a jap truck)

The door pins are $8 each. The brass bushings are $1.35 each. Which window and door seals are you referring to? The seal that are on the doors that are at the top of door panels(inside and outside) are about $48 each inner and outers. I just went o the local yards and found some good ones. Got them way cheaper. I bought the door pin bushings at Dealer. Just havent put them on yet.

I have an '89 Nissan Hardbody King Cab with a Chevy truck/Blazer 4" suspension lift and 3" body lift. It will soon have a TBI 350, SM-465 4 speed trans and 208 T-case rounded off with 39" tires.

Best bet is the junkyard. car-parts.com and junkyarddog are good places to find used parts.

If you looking for new. ABC Nissan gives N4W members a $25 discount. Even after shipping I cant beat their prices at any dealer here on the east coast.

If you need factory part numbers you can PM me or just post up the question on the form.
