bluefsr, just take the bed off the truck and up front just dont run any fenders at all. That way you can run a big tire with no artifical lift.

FYI, federal law, 44" is the biggest tire you can run on the road. Many states however have imposed, yet stricter laws on tire size...

Zhvonte:

You're wrong. 48" are the largest "street legal" tire. And I use the term street legal loosly, because MOST states won't allow large tires over 38" let alone 40" and up! Texas I believe, you can put 48" tires on your rig, and a couple other states. There are some states/city/counties that outlawes the Bogger w/their 90 decibal noise laws (boggers at 35 mph hum at 110 decibals!).

There's no tire size limit in Georgia that I know of(or that the cops know of), but there a bumper height limit. I've never heard of anybody getting hassled over it though. All the more reason for everybody to drive bigger trucks... big grin
