If I wanted to run a 33x12.5 tire what size wheel would I need? It would be for a 1987 Nissan 4x4.

8 inch wide.
can't say what backspace considerations you need, nor if you can even run 33's w/o interference. general rule for rim size is 4" narrower that the tire width. If you have 7" wide rims you might get one mounted to see how it looks. Definately will have to lower air pressure due to the tread "crowning" from the narrower rim. ..................... "Climate change is no longer science. It's politics... Climate change is also about power. Power to control.... It's about who gets to decide: how much energy we will have... where that energy will come from... what it will cost... It's about simulations, scenarios and monsters conjured up by computer models that should never be used to chart government policy -- especially on matters that will profoundly affect our livelihoods, living standards, life spans and dreams of a better future. "So hold onto your wallets, and hope you can hold onto your homes, cars and jobs.
