When its below zero out, here in MN the wind chill is -45, when i start my truck my Brake warning light and the Battery light stay on intil the truck warms up. What does that usually mean when those are lit? It only does it when it sits overnight.

Bandit, maybe your battery is so cold it's ouput is reduced ,and that's causing the symptoms you're seeing- maybe- and that makes the alternator not work as well.
SAve for getting a battery warmer, I don't thikn there's anything you can do. You can make the starter's job a little easier by switching the motor oil over to a good synthetic. Dino oil get's sludgy at low temps when synthetics will still pour. Or is that old news in the LAnd of TenThousand Lakes? ..................... "Climate change is no longer science. It's politics... Climate change is also about power. Power to control.... It's about who gets to decide: how much energy we will have... where that energy will come from... what it will cost... It's about simulations, scenarios and monsters conjured up by computer models that should never be used to chart government policy -- especially on matters that will profoundly affect our livelihoods, living standards, life spans and dreams of a better future. "So hold onto your wallets, and hope you can hold onto your homes, cars and jobs. You're about to be put on a wild political roller coaster." - Paul Driessen, TownHall.com ( the lies of global warming)> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-zeGY8zbzc8 |

Haha, I always run Mobile 1 Synthetic in all my cars. Im not to worried about it, it always starts right up. I thought its odd the Brake and Battery light are wired together.
