maybe a couple mpgs... the lift and 31s look great on hardbodys, and are well worth the minimal gas mileage loss Chug

i didnt notice any major decrease when i put on 33's. that may be due to me not wanting to notice it, thanks to how dismal it allready was.

15mpg with 31's on the v6. I get about 20mpg with the 2wd and 235's. I would not go higher than 235 with the ka24.

I know i don't have a HB but.... my WD21 is averaging a little over 18MPG on 35's w/ 4.88s

but in your situation... i would mostlikely say 31's but do you know what gears you have?

Any tire bigger than 31" you will have rubbing issues.

i'll check the gears next time im at the shop i was gonna go with 33 10.5's not 12.50 so rubbing shouldn't be as bad and im not scared of my saw-zall lol but if i have to re-ger for 33's screw that

ive got the 4.3 gears with 33's. it does perfectly fine. ive got the V6 though, not sure what you have

Edit: you have 4 banger..... people still run 33's with stock gearing with that engine, just dont expect to beat any land speed reacords or be in the fast lane going uphill!

I have a 97 with the ka24 sittin on 31 bf a/t. the only problem I have with the tires are that I can't turn the wheel all the way, it rubs, but I got used to it and it bearly happen anymore. 17 mpg until the swirl valve went out know 15.6. changed valve on new tank i'll let you know what I get now.

I had 33 x 10.50's on a regular cab 4x4 4cyl and stock 4.3 gears with a 3 inch body lift. I don't know if I ever checked my mileage afterwards due to the speedo and odo off. I think I had mine figured at 12% off. The major thing I noticed was that 5th gear became worthless on both hills and to some degree on flat land. In some situations I started to use 3rd gear to climb hills that in the past I would use 4th. Stopping increased a little but you could still stop. I think it is all about what you like the looks of. Regearing would have helped but not for the cost
