I have a 91 hardbody that I want to lift 2-3 inches. I am looking for suggestions on what
lift(s) to consider. Any suggestions would be very usefull. Thanks Clay nissanclay@yahoo.com |

hey check out the 4x4ac board. Seen some one with a trail master kit for a hardbody that might work.
here is a link to it http://www2.4x4parts.com/cgi-local/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=40;t=001295 Frankie Seifert MANC www.geocities.com/midwestallnissan Frontier_Cowboy@yahoo.com |

For 2-3", buy the a-arms from AC, Rancho, or whoever. They enable you to crank up the torsion bars as high as you want while still being able to align your front end, well sorta.
For more than 3", you have to get the Trailmaster 4" lift. It uses drop brackets for all of the front suspension parts to keep the geometry ok. Mr. Will |1992 SE-V6 4x4, 2001 LE 3.5| http://www.netsnapshot.com/pcw/pickalbum?W92PathSE |

Or you could go with a 3" Body lift.... Less $$ but more work!

be careful doing the trailmaster 3-4 inch lift you will have to replace the two piece drive-shaft if you have one in the rear of your truck, it vibrates like mofo with the trailmaster highlift, you will need to fab, or have a custom one piece made, peace!

I got a 97 hb and I'm defenetly going with just a 2 or 3 inch body lift. Suspension lift is not a very good idea on IFS, unless you beefup everything like DR. A body lift will allow you to fit bigger tires (I belive the 3in BL will allow up to 33 inch tires) which will give you more clearance. I've seen some guys with a 3 in BL that are running 35's.
My plan is to not spend any money on the IFS, maybe some new t-bars and a little crank on them. One thing you might want to consider, if you crank your t-bars, is a steering solution. The centerlink wont last long with a t-bar lift. http://www3.gratisweb.com/checoyroxy/ChecoyRoxipink.html "Even if you are on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there." - Words of Wisdom |
