I have a 95 nissan HB 4-cyl 4x4 with a 233 rear end. Does detroit make a locker that fits this. I have been to the AC site and am a little confused, do they only make them for v6 rears? Is there even any difference in the 233 out of 4-cyl trucks and v6 trucks.

Do you have a limited slip or is it open. If it's open you are good, the H233b is the same. If you got a limited slip you will need to find an open carrier because Tru Trac doesn't make the full replacement detriot anymore.

The 4cyl H233B is the same as the V6 H233B and I think it's safe to assume you have the open differential.

I HAVE A 97 4 CYL H233B WITH A DETROIT. I had a limited slip and was able to get the Detroit for an additional 50 dollars. Check with your local shop or call Tractech at 810-759-3850 to get your options.

Good luck.. Be prepared for some different sounds from the rear axle and some serious tire wear. It worth it...

Checo, the LSD is still available if you want it. According to what I have been told, I do NOT have 3.875 gears. I have 3.6?, if that is the case you should be able to use my LSD. By the end-of-month I will know for sure.

Thanks this is just what I wanted to hear. What really got me thinking that there were MANY versions of the 233 was all the diferent R&P applications there are. Whats up with that?
