Hey guys, me again...

Can someone tell me the change interval for a '95 with a KA24E engine? I assume it's an iron block and aluminum head? I also assume the coolant is original, so it needs to be changed out pronto. I think the change interval for the silicated coolant (the normal green stuff) is 24 months or 24,000 miles? Is that the case with Nissan cooling systems?

Thanks,

Yep, 12m/30k

Oh yeah, it's a cast iron block with an alumimum head big grin

EDIT: while you changing out fluids, change the 2 differentials, transfer case, and tranny, unless they have been changed recently. They will thank you hehe

Thanks! Yeah, I do know a little about cars, and 'wheeling in general. smile

We're a Jeep family to be honest. We've been on 2 or 3 Jeep Jamborees which are a bunch of fun. Our '96 Grand Cherokee (with the Up Country suspension package) will run with the best of the Wranglers and CJs. It's really amazing how far into the wood you can go with a vehicle. smile

I'll start doing some light off-roading with the XE, but not too severe yet until I'm comfortable that all the 173k mile suspension pieces are still strong and secure. smile
