With the many times I've seen engines get deep enough to take on water, the intakes have always been the issue. They hydrolocked and stalled. The ignitions, at least from what I've seen have rarely been the problem.

On my pathy, I ran a thin bead of RTV around the dist cap to seal it up. have had the nose of the truck underwater. With the snorkel in place I have not stalled it once in water.

My biggest problem has been quicksand lately.. snorkels and RTV dont help much with that. lol
