2wd v6 short bed. That would be a very rare hardbody to find. I thought the only V6 hardbodys were the heavy duty model.

The desert runners were 2wd? I thought they were 4wd, anyways there's a guy who has one in downtown jax. I think there like 88 or 89 models.

No, speedo...he's talking about the '88 desert runner, which was a 4x4 with a factory winch, grillguard and light bar, and a loud red, white, and blue paintjob.

Yes, there are V6 regular cabs out there. They are rare. The Calmini hardbody you see up in their banner ad is one of them.

I thought the question was regular cab 2wd v6 hardbodys, which I have never seen.

I have seen 4x4 reg cab short bed and reg cab 4x4 long bed before.

The only 2wd v6 hardbody I know of is a SE-V6 extended cab, Which I've seen both stick shift and auto.

Now if you want to downgrade to the 4cyl. I've seen tons of reg cab 4cyl auto trucks. Those were sold as base model Nissan trucks.

As stated earlier, V6 2WD standard cab models were available from 86-89 in SE attire. They are pretty rare and hard to find in decent condition (which old Nissan isnt?). Equally rare are the 2WD V6 Heavy Duty models which had a standard cab and a long bed with beefed up leaf springs. Those were available from 1986 to about 1992/3.

Both models came with either a standard or auto transmission, althought AFAIK the later years of the V6 HD long bed came with auto only.
