Today i was cleaning out my truck and i decided to pull the door jamb covers off and i took a flashlight to look in there. It has minor rust in there. So what would be the best method to prevent it from getting worse?

get rid of what rust you can and convert the rest.
Paint/seal after that. Lots of different rust converters.. I think POR 15( or something like that) is one name brand. ..................... "Climate change is no longer science. It's politics... POR 15 is the best to use. Well known product in the auto restoration community. Get yourself a gas mask or something. POR 15 is a very strong chemical. Horrible stench also. 1995 KC XE-V6 4x4. |
