I'll be happy to lead on any of the trails, and of course I'll spot for anyone needing it wherever possible, just ask. If you'd like, I'll lead Broken Arrow, Smiley Rock, or Down to Lake Pleasant.

If it has tits or tires, you're gonna' have problems...

I have a project implementing that week and was asked yesterday to be available, so I know Thurs/Fri are out for me. Won't know about the weekend until probably 10/5.

This is the second year in a row that I've had to cancel plans around my birthday due to poorly managed projects.

Frown

Of course, I still have my job. 550 other employees weren't so fortunate last week.

Eek

Where's Potato Patch Campground? Maybe I could hook up Saturday night and run Crown King (I assume the back road) down to Pleasant with everyone.

Regards,

-matt

Hopefully you can make it:

Access: From Prescott, take U.S. Highway 89 north to Granite Dells, turn right onto U. S. Highway 89A and travel approximately 20 miles to the top of Mingus Mountain. Potato Patch Campground entrance will be to your left at the summit on Forest Road 106.

From the Verde Ranger Station in Camp Verde, travel approximately 20 miles northwest on U.S. Highway 260 going towards the towns of Cottonwood and Clarkdale. At the junction of U.S. Highway 260 and U.S. Highway 89A,turn left and follow the paved and winding mountain road through the town of Jerome up to the summit on Mingus Mountain. The campground turnoff will be to your right which is Forest Road 106.

Thats like 25-30mins from my house...I might just have to stop by and say hey...if I'm back from Missouri in time.

Sorry, another question... If you're going to be north of Prescott Saturday night, how are you getting to CK on Sunday morning?

Senator Hwy? I-17 to the CK 'main road'?

Thanx,

-matt

Looks like I'll be running the Sedona trails with you. I can lead on any of the trails (but do you really want to be seen following a sheep? lol )

Also, for the Sedona trails you might want to pick up a Red Rock pass on the way through town--$5 for one day or $20 annual--saves potential hassles if you want to stop for a while on the trails. Most of the convenience stores sell them and there is a solar powered vending unit at the Schnebely Hill road lookout.

yea- I was planning on it. Plus, the camping is only free if you have the pass.

Oh well, Sedona is a poor town so it will feel good to help them out. Roll Eyes

We'll follow a sheep- Want to lead Oak Creek?
