The 2" BL install is easier because you will not have to lengthen any hoses or lines. You don’t have to worry about anything chafing.

A 3" BL you might have hoses and lines which need to be extended so they done chafe.

Both 2 and 3" lifts will require about the same amount of work to install. I cant answer your question if a 2000 lift will fit a 02.

Go with the 2". The 3" IS a lot more work/time. Figure one day with a buddy to do the 2". PLkan on a full weekend with a buddy for the 3". It helps if you can weld for the 3" also since you have to extend the t-case shifter.

The 2" will allow you to clear 33" tires which is why most people do it.

I would not recommend doing it alone. FInd a local nissan club that can help you out.

Great instructions on XOC written by 'AHOXTA'. Go there and search.

To extend the lines you have to buy new longer lines to replace the current shorter line. This is a find to as you go kind of thing. After installing the lift you will know what needs to be lengthened
