Honestly I don't know sometimes where the guys on XOC get their information.

I've replaced the drivers side three times and the pasenger once, no need to "drop the front diff"

It is a really simple job. Unbolt, block of wood on the oil pan, jack up, take out, put in, lower jack, tighten.

Our man Carl has a simple solution to the stupid ratchet strap. Simply loosen the top nut on the offending mount and it will drop right back in place. You can put a strap on then to hold it down if you want.

I think for 80.00 bucks I'll just start carrying a spare, they are the same both sides.

I know some people are contributing them breaking to the gears but I broke two without them and so did you and some others.




Meh.
