I wish it was mine. It belongs to Eastside on the AC board. Will try and get him to post here so he can answer questions. (I don't know how much he is paying)

Eastside, when you had the 33x15.50 swampers, what backspacing did you run? And are those the Bart Supertrucker wheels?

KBJ, yea it's drivablebut, not done yet. still working out the bugs.
i guess the XOC board has there own cult going there. i guess they dont like radical changes to there X's but, whatever float's there boat.
i bought the tires before the lift(35x15.5)and wen we put it on, it look to small. so, i'll end up putting some 38's under there.
there is a guy here that does custom drive shafts, he can make one no matter how steep the angle is. he will be starting on it nextweek(i'll let you guys know how it worked out...

eastside,
Question, I am not sure I understand how an extreme lift and SAS help in the sand?

Aren't most sand buggies low to the ground with paddles for tires - as well as extra wide tires?

Very cool, good to see something different. Not saying you did, but I don't care if you did it for looks. Whatever makes you happy. Why do people care so much? You are not trying to force anyone to go the same route, or trash talking about how yours is better. Good for you.

Keep us posted on the progress, especially the front drive shaft. Those that are considering a SAS can use the info, even if it is not exactly what they want to do with thier project.
