Keep us posted on the progress, especially the front drive shaft. Those that are considering a SAS can use the info, even if it is not exactly what they want to do with thier project.

Tru dat Duerk! He has some cajones for doing that to an 02 X. More power to him.

East Side, you man enough to make a driveshaft outa wood and duct tape? lol

Looks good, bigger(taller) tires or a slight drop would be killer IMO. i don't ever look at XOC, but screw whatever they are saying over there Wink

Holly mad axle wrap batman crazy that’s one monster X.

Yeah I’m with orange on this one Chug always glad to see individuality, more power to you.

Keep an eye out on those rear springs, look like they could have trouble supporting that much lift/weight in the longer term. Consider a HD custom spring pack with more progressive leafs. Also some type of traction bar or link system for the rear axle to keep axle wrap in check.

Hope that stock tranny lasts pushing those huge tires, consider a aux tyranny cooler if you a auto, that and some CALMINI low t-case gears (for wheelin’) should help you out a whole bunch in the long run considering you’re running 5.13’s all around I recall?

Yeah a front drive shaft with that much lift & LP D44 will be a challenge IMO, looks like you need a 80 degree CV to make it work, that and some degree shims under the spring(s) to get a better angle on the front pinion/yoke (needs to be angled up)

Good luck and enjoy that monster X.

Lookin' real good, Eastside. Keep up the radical mods. Someone has to break new ground before it's a trail.

because with the SAS we can put bigger wider tires on with out worrying(sp?) about my steering or,anything else that tend to make the nissan IFS a little fragile.. i hope this answer your question.
btw, no bashing taken...
