If you stay IFS, it'll take a 3" suspension lift and a 3" body lift along with some significant fender trimming to fit them under the truck. It's been done though.

Honestly, If the Cherokee is 4wd you'll be better off building it. 34" tires on a Xterra will easily take 1K+ to get them to fit.

The engine in the first picture looks like you just drive it off the dealer's lot.

a 3"body and a 3" suspension is what i am looking at. i would like some input on brands to look into, hoping to stay around $1500-$2000. as well i would like to put in manuel hubs, if there is a cross over from another vehicle i could get from the wreakers and rebuild that would be great.

as for the heep, i have driven it hard and put it away wet. i will be happy if it last the rest of the summer.

thanks

If you want the most quality in one complete kit, calmini is the way to go. Automotive customizers will have your body lift. As for their suspension lift kit, there not always top quality.

For the manual hubs you'll need to order those in from the dealer. All the after market hubs(warn, mile marker) have issues with breaking all the studs off. The 4 wheel drive hubs on a Nissan are external units. Only the Nissan factory hubs hold up to the off road abuse.

The beauty of a used engine. Mine is slowly getting to the point where you only notice the "new" parts.

Ouch, that looks like a hard hit.

The Warn hubs are fine, just use different studs or bolts.
