I have been going nuts for months trying to find the source of a rattling noise that would start at about 2250 rpm's. It turns out it is coming from the power valve on the intake manifold. When the valve opens, something inside starts rattling. I'm glad to finally pinpoint the problem, but was wondering if anyone else has had the same issue?

no one has ever posted a problem with the power valve. I'm not very familiar with the 05+ nissans. What does the power valve do?

apparently it lengthens and shortens the inside of the intake plenum. I never even noticed it there, but it is on the intake just to the right of the throttle body when your looking at the front of the engine.
