Here's a couple shots on its maiden voyage before all the decals.
The truck features the metric equivelent of 33.10.50 16's on stock rims, Calmini lift, Calmini front and rear bumpers, dual Eaton electric lockers, A Calmini geared 3.6:1 Tcase, a Warn 9000 lb winch (not yet installed here), and a 3.5 V6 out of a QX4 complete with custom headers and a straight pipe exhaust. This is one bad Xterra. 1998 Frontier 4x4 seriously built 2002 Xterra 4x4 still stock |

None. I have no affiliation with any vendors other than the fact I mod AC's board. I personally don't run Calmini parts on my truck at the moment, but do run AC, SLR, EOE, and Skid Row parts. Once I get my H233B set up, it will likely have a Calmini diff skid.
But I do know the guys at Nissan that built this truck and was fortunate enough to see it on its first run. 1998 Frontier 4x4 seriously built 2002 Xterra 4x4 still stock |

He doesn't have one. Calmini built that Nissan for SEMA. Some of the guys who work for Nissan took it up to Williams, AZ when it was wet, and ran it through some SERIOUS mud puddles. Gotta love Mike's Smiley Face on the left headlight..hehehe

part right. Calmini built the Tcase. The rest of the truck was put together by Nissan techs.

DR, you may be tight with some of the Nissan R&D guys, but your forecast of the X switching to the C200 rear end for '03 was a bum steer, H233B is still the V6 axle.

Apparently that was a complete mis-understanding on DR's part, Brent. I know he didn't mean to provide incorrect information. From now on, until he sees it, I think he'll be less likely to comment.

quote: You are correct. It was a malicious rumor started at a local dealership here. Only 2wd's get the C200, just like they have been. 1998 Frontier 4x4 seriously built 2002 Xterra 4x4 still stock |

WOnder what a MOD like this would cost on the street. Can only imagine what it would be like to sit behind the wheels !
Anyone seen any discussion on the Calmini vs ARB bumpers?. I will be in the market shortly while I like the look of the ARB I want to go with the best overall fit. |

I believe the Calmini bumper is a bit stouter than the ARB. As for looks, it's a matter of preference, as all reports I've heard is that both fit well...until you do a body lift. Pricing for each is comparable...an ARB costs a few dollars less. The Calmini bumper does not have a bar around the headlight area like the ARB, so if that's important to you, go ARB.

You mean only the 4-cylinder models get the C200. The V6 models, 2WD included, get the H233B.
