I just ordered a latching system that works similar to a car door instead of the other cheesy lever deals. As soon as I recieve it, I will build a prototype door and do some destructive testing on the latch to see how well it will hold up to a person leaning on and wheeling. These latches are NOT for street use. They will not pass inspection, and are NOT intended to be used on the street AT ALL. These will be OFF-ROAD doors only. Hopefully I will have a working prototype in the next few weeks

Got the latch in tonight! I think it's going to work AWESOME, it's more like an actual car door latch rather than all the other cheesy ones...I'll post pics of the latch.

Those look pretty beefy. Hopefully, they will work out fine

I just tried the "stand alone" on my HB, they fit the striker perfect! I think they are going to work out.

where did you get the latch...this is on my project list as well

When do you need them by? I can sell you some cheaper than you can buy them.
