I'll make this brief, folks - but I wanted to get the word out, since I can't post on XOC anymore...

So I'll mention it here, and call it a day. I've created a new Xterra-specific site to take on XOC. Since many of you in this thread are/were on XOC, it seems natural. This site is NOT meant to compete with N4W in any way. The folks here have done an awesome job, and I'd like to see it grow.

That having been said, please take a moment to check out the "Xterra Firma (Community Project)" site! Come on in, take a look around and see what you think. If you like it, please help spread the word.

Thanks everyone - and please don't discuss the site here. I don't want to intrude on N4W any more than necessary with this.

Its all text and looks like pretty much the same people from there plus some... who gives a shit really..... We're all friends and supposed to hate jeepers because they hate us, not hate each other.

Anhyway, just signed on today - my bday - while I was chilling out checking my server stats for http://Xterrastuff.com..... heard about the site but never checkd it out, sorry. But someone had linked from here to my site and I had to check it out....

but since its UBB, its easy to relate to the fctn of the board so thats nice.... thanks people for yet another forum to waste my non-driving time in!

I never checked in this thread. I started on AC, then adopted TUNFS as my home board, then found NOR, joined XOC real late and jumped on the N4W bandwagon near it's inception.

Five boards is way too much to keep up with all the time!

NOAS is now an official club. There's probably about 30-40 people coming, most driving Nissans. A couple prople are riding ATVs of some sort. It's gonna be pretty informal.

I just joined today. I joined cause i was looking through the posts and i only saw like three or four through the whole site that were flame posts. And even those were pretty mild. So i see this forum as a serious community of 4 wheelers and more little kid friendly and also work friendly where all swear words on a page get logged.
Anyway im bonecrusher here and XterraFirma and XOC and some other car sites that arent xterra related.

Like you noticed, flaming is not tolerated on the site and we've only had to moderate a post or two on occasion.. the BBQ pit forum is the only place we allow it but really doesnt get used much. We're a pretty tight-knit group here and its almost like a big family to a lot of us. We take our wheeling and modifications seriously, and other things not quite so seriously.. but its all fun.

So, feel free to ask any Q's that come to mind.. someone will have an answer for you to help you out.
