You guys prolly saw or been asked this. I think I know the answer. I have a 2004 xterra- saving some money to mod and build a show and go! I had to trade my 2003 350z in to get the family truckster! Glad I did! So i been around both cars and trucks. Now with a house, 2 dogs and a wife, trying to save to mod my terra! - I beliebe 32-10.5x16 will do it with out a lift. I stand correct? - 5 roatations on those damn torsion bars gave me a lil height, nothing to go brag about, but anyways I wanna lift the rig 1st and then buy bigger tires. My wallets telling me go get the tires 1st. I wanna get rims black rock crawlers, on some yokohama geolander mt/plus or ofcourse the GY -mt/r. Really interseted in the calmini solid axle swappy girl. Me needs a dana44 for that enhancement for some good ol articulation! Jaba-jaws comes to an end, really glad to be part of this group! Any feed back on this i'd glady appreciate it! Take care..

Darn you had to sell the Z. My other baby is a 1971 Datsun 240Z. There's a link in my profile to pictures.

Stock you can run 31's.

As far as the lift, I would go with calmini upper A-arms sway-away torsions and rear lift leaf springs. Drop in some rancho 9000's you'll be all set.

After the lift set aside some money for the calmini steering upgrade.

you can fit 32x11.5 with no lift, you just have to cut some plastic, and crank the t-bars which it seems you said you already did.

And from my experience, I would definately go with the Geolander M/T... but,the MT/R is a good tire , too

the good year mtr is awesome, thas what i have. they are not cheap. mine were 190 each, mount balance and install with full warrantee. you also have to be religous about rotating them or you will pay dearly.

I've been looking at those. I just cant seem to phoney up the money. Wall-Mart quoted 181+warranty. I'm still in the market, still pondering on them.

I leaning towards BFG AT for 126+warranty. I mainly highway driving.
