By vintage, I think Thanatoz is referring to the baby bronco axles, which are far narrower than the 77/78 bronco axles. I dont think the baby bronco axle will work with the calmini kit, but I could be wrong.

FWIW, the EB axle w/ chevy outers is an exact match widthwise, WMS-WMS, for the stock rear axle on a pathfinder or hardbody.
