When I got into my accident, a near full Dr. Pepper exploded all over the cab. It got into the buttons on my stereo faceplate and into some of the knobs on my cb. Is there any way to clean that stuff out?

In the past i have used aerosal can electrical cleaner. This stuff leaves no residue and works best when trying to flush sticky stuf from beind buttons. I think it is just alcohol.

You are safe with plain water. Keep the power off. Give it time to dry before using it. That shouldn't take long in YOUR neighborhood.
Alcohol or any other solvent may damage the finish. It already got wet with soda. If that didn't mess it up, water can't do any harm.

50/50 Alcohol and water, use a spray bottle and let it dry for 24hrs. I did this on my Dell lap top after spilling coke on it and it's been working fine Cool.

Not yet. I just want to have everything ready to put back in when I get it back. Hoping to see it in my driveway some time next week.
