I thought I read in one of the forums about it but now I can't find it so I came here to ask.
Anyone got a source for a higher output alternator for a 98 Frontier 2.4 4X4. The alt on it is the factory 70 amp which seems to be going out. It makes sqeeling noises. The more things I turn on the louder the squeel. I'd like to find one a bit higher in amp so I can add more lights and whatever else I can think of without going broke.

Thanks for that. Now, Will I have to do any electrical mods to my truck for the 115 amp or just bolt it on and go?

I'm not sure if those things will fit the current mounts but you shouldn't need to re-do any wiring. I'd email Mike and Jane and ask them about it.

Mr. Will

Give me ambiguity or give me something else.

I got the word from Mike. They are plug in, bolt on and go. He did suggest upgrading to bigger posstive and neutral cables. Seeing how they're not much more $$ than a 70 amp I went ahead and ordered it.
Thanks
