I have a cheap wally world one (35$) mounted where my ash tray used to beSmile It took a little dremel work, but it fits tight in there. not the best CB, but it fits in there and works for the trail.

What kinda vehicle do you have? I have a 2000 Frontier CC. Like A1C, I was able to get a Radio Shack CB in there. Fits like a glove and sounds decent too. I'll see if I have a pic around of it.

Stromtrooper, I would like to see a picture of it. I have a 95 Hardbody and have heard some people say you can mount a CB under the radio. Anyone here done that, if so, what CB fit and do you have any pics of it.

Thanks,
Jeremy

I mounted mine underneath the radio. Only way I could get it in the car without it looking crappy. Most cb's come with mouting hardware and just screw the brackets into the plastic under the radio. Check the pictures on my site on page 4.

Off topic...

How do you like that RS900 in cab controller? Is it worth the investment?

Hmmm, how do I answer that? Yes I absolutely love it! Did I install it? Yes I did. Would I do it again? Ummm, I don't think I'd want to install it again but I'm sure I could do it better the second time. Lots of hoses going everywhere!

Gotta question for ya'll.

Anyone get interference noise thru their CB from powerlines..?? Im sure they have to take it per FCC regs..but its annoying. I pass under 3 large sets on the way to work....Ive checked all the cabling and grounds...
