I also have on order a new Pioneer VSX 1015tx Receiver (THX certified) and Pioneer DV-588a-S universal DVD player. Also ordering this 5.1 surround sound system to replace my current Bose setup.Bic Acoustech System

WHy get rid of the Bose? Does that one sound that much better? I'm extremely happy with my AM15 system.

In one word, yes. This new system will knock the socks off any Bose setup.
Bose is a great marketeer but a so-so speaker designer. For the general listener, Bose is fine but ask any true Audiophile about Bose and I promise you will not get any positive feedback. no highs no lows must be BOSE. BOSE only has good enclosures that make junk speakers sound average.
