I want to get the the light behind my gages and my the light being the heater i want to put a blue or red light instead of plain ol white. thanks

Its like a dozen or 18 screws, all phillips heads...they are on my 95 anyway. Prolly take about 15-20 min to get it all out...not bad really. I need to replace my clock light with one out of my "spare"(sitting in garage, bad odometer) Its on the "to do" list for a day when i want to wrench but have nothing elseI want to do to screw up my truck Smile

The gages on my X dont even light up anymore! It went out after a offroad trip. I checked the fuse box and it seems to be all good. any tips? I bothers me when I drive at night.

Check the fuse(s) again and start with the stuff you can see and reach first. If you know which fuse is the dash lights replace it even if it looks good. You did check the brightness adjuster dial switch, right? For all the lights in the dash to go out at once sounds suspiciously like the fuse, that switch, or the wire to it.

Yeah pretty sure it is not the brightness adjuster. I double checked the fuses. The solution seems so simple but yet I cant find it. it is one of those things that irrates the crap out of you!
