Very cool. I bought the Cobra 25 Nightwatch. Little bit smaller, and not as many features, but tucks out of the way nicely. The only thing I didn't like about the 29 is the size... Hope you have a big area picked out for it.

No... I didn't buy from Clay's. Picked it up on Ebay. I want performance mods done, but will find a shop down here that can take care of it.

I had a 29 classic tweaked/peaked and amped in my truck when i used to drive long haul, it was a very nice radio. Never gave me any problems.

I have a classic 29ltd its been tweaked/peaked...It can reach out and touch someone thats for sure. I do need to pick up a new 18 foot length of cable since mine is crimped near the hatch...

Screw that "tweaking and peaking" crap... my radio (the same one you have minus the WX part) is now trash because it was over-tweaked (that's the guess anyway) and it burned itself up over time. Half (or more) of those CB guys don't know what the heck they're doing.
Here are some pics of the custom mount I made for it:     It worked great - except I discovered that I had to unscrew the tcase shifter knob in order to get into 4lo. ETA: If you'd like to have this mount or my nearly-new Cobra noise canceling mic I'm done with 'em... LMK I just ditched my bad radio (Keith said I sounded like the teacher from Charlie Brown) for this setup:  |

That uniden is the same radio that I have in all my vehicles.. The front firing speaker rocks!
