I was just wondering how everybody wired thier antenas for XM radio. Did you just leave it on your dash, because I looked all over and couldn't find a decent spot to wire it to the roof.

I ran mine out one of the rear doors and stuck it on the roof. Smile

Mine is stuck to the top of the roll bar on my sheep. Works fine under the plastic hardtop.

I did alot of those when I was an installer. Where do you want to put it? Centered or to one side over the windsheild works out good on alot of cars. Let me know I could suggest some wire routing tricks.

Yeah I just want to put it in a spot where there will be a minimum ammount of wire showing. Maybe I might just run it out the back window and mount it on the roof somewhere up there.

I ran mine behind the dash to the pillar between the headliner and roof out the 3rd brake light. I did this with my external GPS antenna as well and had to make the hole a bit bigger but with a rubber grommet it has had no leakage at all.
Lator.....
