I recently purchased a 2002 Pathfinder. One of my options is the Homelink garage door system. I tried and tired to get this to work without any luck, Does anyone know how to set up the Homelink system? Thanks

I have that in my 96 pathy and 04 quest. The trick is My garage door opener is TOO smart. It constantly changes the codes.
Use the instructions in the owners manual in glove box. Something like hold down the two outer buttons until it flashes or something. But you have to press the learn button on the garage opener while programming the homelink. Its really tricky. Get the instructions for your opener and follow for adding a new remote. You need both instructions handy. Barry 93 D21 King Cab SE - 35s, SAS + stuff 92 Pathfinder SE - Auto SAS 3 link 04 Quest SE - stock, perfect!!! |

the openers which have a "rolling code" need to be manually programed, which involves opening the cover actual opener in the garage itself.
I would use this linkand contact them they are pretty good about helping those folk who purchase them from the dealership I work at. |

Hold down the homelink until it flashes. Now take the remote and hold down the button until the homelink stops flashing. Now press the learn button on your garage door opener and press hour homelink slowly twice. Your garage door should open.
