hope this is the right place to post this since its an electronic question ,well i have a 92 pathfinder automatic 4x4 its runs awesome its all stock except 31" tires,everyonce in a while it won't go into overdrive i stop restart it and its fine runs fine for days then it'll do it agian. first thing i did was change the filter and new fluid couple days later it did u=it so i took it to a shop they said its fine so on the way home from the shop does it agian the i take it to another mechanic and he says he can't find anything wrong and sends me on my way neither shop charged me thats the only good thing but now i'm at a loss the transmission shifts fine no slipping nothing its like chasing a ghost please help ,thanks in advance

Maybe a wiring problem. May have a connector that's corroded. Or a wire that chaffed. Might be worth a look in the center console and at the tranny.

yeah thats what i told the mechanics they don't seem to understand that , they drive it around and it does good and then they call me and say they can't find nothing ????so yeah i'm gonna look it over this weekend myself just to see if i can see anything is there a site or anything that shows a diagram of wiring and the transmission ecu??
