It only took 8 days from Japan Smile

3M tape wouldn't stick so i drilled a couple holes. Turns out there's something solid in the dash somewhere cause it's nice and snug.

There's a small light in the ciggy lighter socket so I just spliced wires there.

The bulbs are some kind of strange JDM part, but Sylvania 74s fit and work.

The altimeter measures in meters.. 3500 meters would be approx 10,500ft.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing til i realized it was meters lol

night shot

It's funny how when I hit the gas or brakes the pitch swings all over the place. Might as well be a G-Meter lol. The pitch side also needed to be re-indexed which wasn't a big deal. I've got pictures of everything inside just in case somebody needs them.

Dropped it a little to fit flush

I haven't seen one with anything other than 2-door Pathfinders and single cab HBs.

I'm working Saturday so I'll be in town. Across the street from my place. Going to Savannah after that.

Darn but that is good lookin!

Isn't that an OEM component on Japanese market Pathfinders?

When the location and mounting is exactly how you want it, I could see drilling the dash underneath the unit to run the power wiring through and hide them.

Yep...stock on Japanese Terranos

I have one in my Frontier, but it's elevated off the dash a bit. I didn't bother with the power leads....that only provides the backlighting.

Yeah that's the plan. The problem is that it's so close to the windshield it's hard to get to the screws to get the cover off.

I have the same one. I just used some double sided 3M tape to attach it to the dash. It wasn't done when I took this pic, but for the wires I just used some really thin gauge wires and ran them down from the right corner of the gage and under the AC bezel. You only end up seeing about 1" of exposed wire.

I got one with a picture of a Hardbody.

Ran the wires by drilling into the dash. Used 4 screws to secure the clinometer.

I managed to tilt the pitch so aggressively that it skipped several teeth and did not settle properly.
