I have a switch on my console (switch missing or down in console) with a face plate that has 3 settings of "impact on, off, and alarm on. Is this a factory installed alarm system? All I want is electric door unlock system. Original manuals state a VSS is on truck. Can I just buy a key fob from one of our sponsors? Any programming issues I need to know about?

Yes you can buy one off ebay and program it. I just got one from ikeyless.com! Easy to program too
