Hey everybody, I'm new to the Nissan world so I help you can help me out a bit. A little after I bought the truck i noticed that the third brake light was always on any time my headlights are turned on. It does get brighter when I hit the brakes but I know that this can't be right. Then, I noticed that my corner lights were also coming on as well as the lights in the visor. I've checked the wiring and fuses to the best of my ability and can't find anything. I did notice that it stopped for a little when I had the computer reset after cleaning out the egr valve to pass emissions. THe check engine light came back on a few weeks later and the problem started again although I don't know if it was exactly at the same time. Could these actually be related? Any suggestions?

Could be a bad ground some where. Check the battery cables, sounds weird I know.
