Ok i was goin down the road and i looked back and smoke was coming the gap between the bed and cab and im like what the hell did i just it a big as puddle and not know it so then the smoke came up through my carpet and under my seats and im freaken out and lucky me i had the right tool to take off my switch box to unbolt it and all my hot wire was burned and fried i was pretty much pissed so now i have to redo all my lights wiring for 10 lights 5 switches! crappy 4 me. Just thought you had to know

Sounds like you got lucky it didn't burn to the ground. I have a switch that cuts the power from the battery off from the entire rig just incase. It also works to keep my rig from driving away without my concent. If you ever want one, www.12voltguy.com has them and they are made by Hella and rated for like a hundred amps if I remember corectly.
