Hey i was wandering if anyone new of a speaker shallow enough to fit properly in the back of a hardbody king cab. everything ive looked at is too deep and i cant get the seats down.

I ended up making a 1 1/4" spacer to fit some kenwood 6 1/2 in there. Worked fine and was just able to get the rear jump seats down.

sorry for the thread revival, but have you checked out eD? they make a pretty damn good product, and they've got components and a sub that has a mounting depth of 3.5".

Sony and Pioneer both make speakers that are less than 2" deep.

Sony sucks big time as far as car audio goes, IMO. and Pioneer is ok, but a little pricey for what kind of quality you get when you compare to companies like Eclipse, eD, Focal, etc.
