Just wondering if anyone has experience with any of the computer modifications avalable for the VG33. Of course I have seen the ones avalable to "trick" the computer with a resistor, but how about the Jet system? Anyone tried it? Curious if it is worth the 350 bucks.

Hey there...
With respect to the "resistor" kind of devices, those are something to keep away from for sure. Jet and Jim Wolf I believe it is, both have reprogramed ECU components. A rule of thumb is to make the ECU the very last thing you do with respect to mods. This is because the ECU is custom programed to account for intake, catback, tire diameter, ignition, etc. that you have changed from OEM. Are they worth it? Probably not, unless you have a lot of the other engine related mods already. Hootowl |
