anyone have one? what about the car alarms that page you? What do you recommend, lets assume no one cars if the alarm is going off (although it would have worked in my case) and it needs to alert me somehow

Lojack has an alarm option for a few extra coin on top of the basic system. I think it can be setup to page or dial your cell or other phone #.

I'm looking into this also.

I would like to have one that would dial my cell phone number. With the amount of money I drive an older truck which means it's easier of a thief to steal.

I'm looking for one that will dial my cell phone # and a GPS device so the cops can track where the car is at. Is this offered by any company?

I talked to a guy the other day about his pager alarm, and he said it doesn't work far enough away from the car to be very useful. no idea what brand his was. not sure if they make one that can actually get a signal to a cell phone or pager, but I know they have GPS stuff available.

I had already seen the GPS stuff. It's about $450 and will dial your cell/pager. They charge you a per incident type fee rather than a monthly fee.
