I broke the plastic on/off switch on my PE8000 mile marker solenoid assembly

when viewing electric winch downloads click on "Installation Instructions" for you model winch. You will be taken to a pdf file of "Assembly and Operating Instruction Book". Pretty much all you'll ever need to know about your mile marker winch. Included in the manual is a parts breakdown with all parts and part numbers used to build the winch. Makes rebuilding much easier.

Parts required:
1)Solenoid-kill switch P/N 76-50145-S08
2)Mile marker solenoid assembly
3) Red turning Knob and screw

1)Remove control box from bumper, disconnect all electrical cables.
2)Remove male winch remote female connector mounting screws. Your not going to be able to totally remove the connector. There are wires going from the connector to solenoids.
3)Removing mounting screws from solenoid kill switch assembly
4)remove all cover assembly mounting screws.
5)Remove cover, works best if you tilt the back cover up and slide forward.
6)Things should look like this
7)
8)Remove solenoid kill switch assembly nuts. Note the washer stack up.
9)
10)
11)install new switch
12)

The best place to order parts is from mile marker direct. Keep in mind every little part has it's own part number when ordering. Including screws, washers, nuts ect. If you are rebuilding a winch component make sure you look at the parts breakdown before ordering. It is not fun when you don't have all parts you need when you are building up a component.
