I'm looking for one to put in the car and am curious if anyone here has one and is happy with it. I did have one that mounted to the HVAC vents but was garbage.
I need one so I can keep the phone in my line of sight because I can't here the darn thing ring, it's too damn quite. I have a Sanyo RL-4920.(not a flip-phone) Matt I swear to God, I'll pistol whip the next guy who says shenaningans |

I got one at target that I am very happy with. Well I was until I got a new phone and it wasn't magetic. If I glue a piece of metal inside the battery cover it will work again tho. It is called MagNaTec, or something like that. It screws in the dash, I put mine just to the right of the steering wheel and I can see it perfectly. It still holds my phone, but it falls out if I go around a corner too fsat. Worked much better with my old phone.
It Never Ends... BUT if you let someone borrow your junk, wifey or girlfriend or mom or dad, and they don't know how to drive a rig with a locker, when they hit ice/snow they is so gonna crash that mofo! -Rondo |

Darn but I am probably too slow to kick in this idea for you.
The easiest cell phone attachment for me was probably the cheapest option as well. You have seen those cheap, plastic belt hanger clips that use a button on the backside of the cell phone? I had one of those on the phone and then found a matching "hook" that had sticky tape on on the backside for a surface mount. Just attached the hook to the dash. Total cost of all this was something like 5 bucks and no drilling needed. hehehe... Hootowl |
