Saw this over on VirtualJeepClub this morning. Definately should be some interest here. I plan on showing up for a while since it affects CK and parts of TM.
The more support the better, no matter what make you wheel. Andy, Not sure if you know anything more on this, but it seems worthwhile... ------------ The Bradshaw Foothills Coalition A small group of people working together to make a big impact Greetings fellow outdoor trail enthusiasts: Mark your calendars. The Bradshaw Foothills Coalition is hosting a route designation workshop on June 16, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Lake Pleasant Outdoor Recreational Center. The purpose of the workshop is to gather user data and current trail usage information from all user groups and/or stakeholders in the Bradshaw Foothills area. We would like input from all user groups, including ATV, motorcycle, 4-wheelers, private property owners, equestrians, rock-crawlers, hikers, wilderness and/or those with environmental concerns, bicyclists, hunters, birders and mining interests. The information gathered at this workshop will be compiled and given to the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to be used in its ongoing route evaluation process. The more inclusive this information is, the more use it will be to the BLM, and the more influential it will be. If you have a favorite trail or loop which you would like to stay open, areas that you feel should be designated for a specific user group or concerns and/or input about recreation and travel management in this area, this workshop is a chance to give us your input and make it count. We are counting on you to voice your opinion on these highly recreated areas so that everyone gets a chance to be heard so please do your best to attend or just stop by with your comments. Thank you for your participation in advance. See you at Lake Pleasant on June 16th! ------------------ ~Tim |

check this out
it's from the "digital repository" at Texas A&M , of of survey( i think) of the Bradshaws from 1901, published '05. ..................... "Climate change is no longer science. It's politics... Climate change is also about power. Power to control.... It's about who gets to decide: how much energy we will have... where that energy will come from... what it will cost... It's about simulations, scenarios and monsters conjured up by computer models that should never be used to chart government policy -- especially on matters that will profoundly affect our livelihoods, living standards, life spans and dreams of a better future. "So hold onto your wallets, and hope you can hold onto your homes, cars and jobs. You're about to be put on a wild political roller coaster." - Paul Driessen, TownHall.com ( the lies of global warming)> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-zeGY8zbzc8 |
