My local 4wd group was just up there this last weekend (13th-15th), and they said they saw no signs of it being closed, no trespassing signs... nothing.

There were definitely no signs when we were up there on December 27th. The place is definitely getting vandalized pretty badly, which is unfortunate.

Yea, if I'm reading it correctly, it has been "closed" for a bit now, there just hasn't been the signage it should have. When there is signage put up, it just gets bullet holes in it, so the land owners are ASKING that people don't drive on it. Mostly to protect the kilns, so you really can't blame them with the yahoos out there.

Tha sucks about the vandals.
 Those huts, or kilns or whatever are so cool. Really ticks me off when people do damage to old landmarks, or anything enjoyable for that matter.  |
