Dunno if you AZ locals have heard, but there is a fire burning up near crown king that is getting a lot bigger. Its threatening the town of Crown King.
Everyone keep your fingers crossed. There are a lot of expensive houses up in that area too. I wasn't aware that area was on fire. Is it from the storm we had a few weeks ago?

nope. Another idiot hiker started a signal fire because they were lost. And I'm sure they'll escape prosecution just like that dumb bitch who started the Rodeo or Chedeski fire (whichever one the Indian guy didn't start).

That's how the Cedar Fire started-over 280,000 acres burned here in SAn Diego cnty in 2003. A hunter started a signal fire when he became lost near sunset.
Hundreds of homes were lost, 15 people killed.  Sergio MArtinez got 6 months in min security/ work furlough, 5 months probation and a $9,000 fine.Hopefully area agencies learned from that clusterFugh ..................... hopefully it won't take the town, I'm tired of hearing about history being lost to fires. I know it was 20 yrs ago but the Dude fire near Payson, Kohl's Ranch was one.
