hey im new to this site and wanted 2 say hey. ive been looking for months for a body lift for my pathfinder and this site helped me find one. i have a 95 finder w 31s and the rub a bit. i would like to know what are some opinons on want i should go with the 2' or 3' and what else i can do. i think the 3' may just show to much gap, but im not sure. also if i were 2 get a suspension lift what an ok cheap one i could get.
thanx

Get the 3" body lift. Pathfinders are set lower in the frame than the hardbodies. I belive hardbodies come with a 2" BL from factory (4x4 ones). So if you get the 3" BL, you'll end up about 1" higher than a hardbody.

as fas as suspension lift, the cheapest is to get the upper control arms and do a torsion-bar lift on it. I wouldn't recomment it unless you got an aftermarket steering.

I talked to a buddy of mine who lifts vehicles just about every day,and he said not to go more than 2" on a body lift, since the bolts can break fairly easily. I know this is true with jeeps, but I am not sure about pathys. Does anyone agree? or disagree? I was looking at 3" body, but after he said that, I do not know anymore.

IIRC, there are holes in the frame that allow you to move the rear bumper up 3" to get it lined up correctly after a 3" lift. But if you go with a 2" lift, you'll have to leave the bumper in the stock position and have a gap.
Personally, I'd go with a suspension lift. They're easier to install and don't leave gaps.
